Closure of long stay car park 15 March 2025
The station long stay car park is closed until further notice. This is part of the York Station Gateway Project, where Network Rail will construct a new multi-storey car park on the site.
Parking for blue badge holders will be unaffected. All other users must find alternative facilities and allow extra time for travel. For other locations visit York.gov.uk/CarParks.
Saturday alcohol policy
Alcohol is not permitted in York station on Saturdays evenings from 18:00 until 01:00. Security staff will be present and will request that any alcohol is disposed of before entering the station.
